A Formal Demand for the Paper Trail: DEA Records on Williamson County Jail
A single letter puts the Drug Enforcement Administration on notice: produce every registration file, prescribing record, and investigative note connected to a Texas jail's medical operation — and the doctors authorized to order drugs inside it.
The request seeks federal records on controlled substance registration, prescribing authority, and regulatory oversight at Williamson County Jail. It stems from documented concerns about medical administration, delegation of authority, and compliance with federal controlled substance law.
This publication constitutes a preserved public record. The document below is reproduced in its original form as a formal request submitted under federal law. Nothing in the substance of the request has been altered.
